Aluminium installer — Newport

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium installer in Newport, Wales. Ideal candidate: • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill Day-to-day duties: • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
