Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in DeKalb County, Indiana. You will be based in a gas distribution network. The role involves test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
