Rebar fixer wanted in Gilmer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Gilmer County, Georgia. The job is on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman 2+ years on the tools preferred.
