VMC operator wanted in Hampden County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Hampden County, Massachusetts. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
