We are recruiting: lift technician (Louisiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift technician in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Full-time, day shift.
