You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
