The role involves dust and polish furniture, mirrors and glass with the right chemicals; sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns; vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room; follow the colour-coded cloth system to avoid cross-contamination; strip and make beds with fresh linen and tight hospital corners.
