Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Tuscola County, Michigan. The job is on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
