Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium section fitter in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. You should have: • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Day-to-day duties: • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames Part-time with flexible hours.
