Fabricator-welder wanted in Little River County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Little River County, Arkansas. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
