Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Carroll County, Mississippi. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
