Rebar fixer • Big Horn County, Montana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Big Horn County, Montana. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
