We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
