Now hiring: chiller technician (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a chiller technician in Mason County, Michigan. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter 6+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
