Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Day-to-day duties: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load 2+ years on the tools preferred.
