Gtaw welder wanted in Torrance County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Torrance County, New Mexico. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
