GMAW welder — Northumberland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Northumberland, England. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Full-time, day shift.
