We are recruiting: gas metal arc welder (South Dakota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Hughes County, South Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Overtime paid at a premium rate.
