We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Baraga County, Michigan. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
