Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
