Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Denver County, Colorado. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
