Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Greenwood County, South Carolina. You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
