Join our team: precision welder (Enugu State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Ezeagu, Enugu State. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 3+ years on the tools preferred.
