Ladle pourer — Yola North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Yola North, Adamawa State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Full-time, day shift.
