The role involves clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
