Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Cabell County, West Virginia. You will work at a garment factory. Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
