Great opportunity: we are hiring a banksman in Fort Bend County, Texas. You will work at a busy construction site. You will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Part-time with flexible hours.
