Argon arc welder wanted in Mason County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Mason County, Texas. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
