Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Abbeville County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
