Pastry baker wanted in Haines Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Haines Borough, Alaska. Day to day you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
