Car painter wanted in Inverclyde

We are recruiting: we are hiring a car painter in Inverclyde, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners The role involves: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio 6+ years on the tools preferred. £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
