Canteen cook wanted in Fillmore County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Fillmore County, Nebraska. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies On the job you will handle: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
