Access control officer wanted in Western Connecticut Planning Region

We are recruiting: we are hiring an access control officer in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a CCTV control room. Day-to-day duties: • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes What we are looking for: • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Alert, disciplined and punctual • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
