Restoration bricklayer • Washington County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Washington County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 1+ years on the tools preferred.
