Painter — The Scottish Borders

Great opportunity: we are hiring a painter in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site On a typical shift you will carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £16 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
