Tailor machinist wanted in Jefferson Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
