We are recruiting: civil works labourer (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Fayette County, Illinois. The role involves load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
