Fast-fit technician — Isles of Scilly

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fast-fit technician in Isles of Scilly, England. You will be based at a busy tyre bay. Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Day to day you will handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,550 per month, based on your experience.
