Restoration bricklayer — North Ayrshire

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in North Ayrshire, Scotland. The role involves: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
