Cnc lathe setter wanted in Liberty County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Liberty County, Georgia. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
