Health and safety supervisor — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Grant County, South Dakota. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Your main tasks: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
