Structural MIG welder — Gloucestershire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Gloucestershire, England. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
