Argon welder wanted in Daviess County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Daviess County, Missouri. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
