Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Charlotte County, Virginia. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Full-time, day shift.
