Safety inspector wanted in Porter County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety inspector in Porter County, Indiana. Your main tasks: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Requirements: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
