Gas pipe fitter — Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Polk County, Texas. Day to day you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
