Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork joiner in City of Harrisonburg, Virginia. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Day to day you will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse.
