Domestic gas engineer — Hardeman County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Hardeman County, Tennessee. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
