Reinforcement steel fixer — Cobb County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Cobb County, Georgia. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench. Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
