The role involves check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Confident with manual handling and load securing 5+ years on the tools preferred. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
